Six Packs for Soldiers is a "beer-partisan" campaign to thank our troops. We are Republicans, Democrats, and Independents who have joined together with a simple mission – we want to buy our soldiers a beer.
Six Packs for Soldiers is led by a beer-partisan team, including John Hlinko and Bill McIntyre, colleagues at the firm Grassroots Enterprise. Hlinko, a Democrat, formerly helped lead MoveOn.org in its early days, and was the founder of DraftWesleyClark.com. McIntyre formerly was the chief national spokesman for the National Rifle Association. They may not agree on politics, but they are 100% in synch on supporting our troops.

A: You upload a photo of yourself toasting the troops, and we'll deliver a real beer to a real soldier.

A: For now, the plan is to deliver it to returning soldiers. But we are researching to see whether it would be possible to have a "beer-lift" overseas.
Q: How long will this effort last?
A: In light of the great response we have received, we have extended the submission period again -- from July 4th to Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd!
Q: When it comes to war, aren't there more important things to be thinking about than beer?
A: Yes, of course, and we are. But it doesn't mean we can't take a break for a moment, and buy a beer for a hero. But by all means, if you want to do more for these returning soldiers, go for it. If you want a great place to start, consider supporting Disabled American Veterans. (we have no connection to them, we just have tremendous respect for what they do)
Q: Will you deliver anything else except beer?
A: In addition to the beer, we will deliver some non alcoholic alternative beverages for those who do not drink alcohol, or who are under the legal drinking age.
